The Fu Subcutaneous Needling - American Version Course (FSN) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to fascial needling by areas of the body utilizing ROM assessment, treatment skills, and techniques specific to the field of myofascial pain and muscle dysfunction. This course will incorporate prior learning of myofascial pain, trigger points, and their referral patterns, as well as unique needling techniques. The first day will be focused on the upper body, while the second day will be focused on the lower body. Handouts will be provided including fascial planes of the body and a guide to insertion of the FSN needle per area.
FSN is a great addition to the practitioner’s toolbox to offer a safe and effective treatment option with minimal discomfort for the patient. The course is offered through Functional Fascia Therapeutics in conjunction with Myopain Seminars.
Course Objectives:
This course has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 1.5 CEUs. (15.0 contact hours)
