Florida Society of Pathologists (FSP) 52nd Annual Pathology Conference Updates and Practical Approaches in Pathology is organized by Florida Society of Pathologists (FSP) and will be held from Feb 13 - 15, 2026 at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Orlando, Florida, United States of America.

Statement of Need:
The field of pathology is constantly changing, and many of the most important advances in the field. In the setting of new technology, techniques and advancements in the field, practice gaps are inevitable. As such, pathologists require ongoing educational opportunities to stay current in order to maintain and improve their knowledge and competence in the field.

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, all participants should be able to:

• Recognize the importance of identifying an underlying immune deficiency or dysregulation and the rationale for an integrated classification system and nomenclature
• Discuss when to test for oncogenic viruses and underlying inborn errors of immunity
• Recognize the typical and variant features of Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma
• Recognize diagnostic features and differential diagnosis in the evaluation of various neoplasms including breast, lymphoma and gastrointestinal neoplasms
• Recognize key histologic patterns characteristic of triple negative breast cancer and its mimics
• Describe standardized methods to evaluate specimens after neoadjuvant therapy
• Review sampling and reporting in post-neoadjuvant breast pathology
• Describe an algorithmic approach to diagnosing well differentiated hepatocellular lesions
• Discuss the use of special stains in distinguishing the diagnostic differential for well differentiated hepatocellular lesions
• Describe a repeatable approach to working up adenocarcinomas of unknown origin
• Discuss the role of molecular testing in the pathologic work up of adenocarcinomas of unknown origin
• List a limited panel of stains that can be used to identify the site of origin of many adenocarcinomas
• Describe the evolving leadership role of pathologists in advancing cancer precision medicine
• Outline strategies for pathologists to optimize the application of genomic and molecular testing for personalized cancer treatment planning
• Summarize key initiatives and achievements of the FSP Precision Medicine Academy (PMA)
• Appraise unique pathology cases
