2nd Annual Florida Fetal Cardiology Symposium 2026 is organized by AdventHealth Nicholson Center and will be held on Apr 17, 2026 at AdventHealth Nicholson Center, Celebration, Florida, United States of America.

Description:
This one-day course is designed to create a platform for healthcare professionals throughout Florida and the southeastern United States to discuss the most current guidelines and standards for the prenatal detection of heart defects. It aims to promote multi-disciplinary collaboration amongst the care team for better overall patient experience and outcomes. This event will feature discussions from both Pediatric Cardiology and Maternal Fetal Medicine disciplines with open dialogue through question-and-answer sessions and panel discussions. Live echo scanning opportunities will also be available.

Course Objectives:

  • Describe current guidelines for fetal cardiac screening and fetal echocardiography.
  • Discuss advances of fetal cardiac imaging. 
  • Identify key markers to determine post-natal acuity of possible cyanotic congenital heart defects.
  • Determine the clinical importance of accurate and compassionate prenatal detection and diagnosis of congenital heart disease.
  • Describe the challenges of prenatal counseling. 
  • Identify ways to improve multidisciplinary collaboration between maternal fetal medicine and pediatric cardiology.
