First Aid at Work for Massage Therapists 2026 is organized by Jing Advanced Massage Training and will be held on Nov 30, 2026 at Jing Institute of Massage and Complementary Medicine, Brighton, England, United Kingdom.
Course Content:
This is a certified course for candidates who require a first aid certificate. A certificate valid for 3 years will be issued upon full attendance and satisfactory assessment of the delegate. Can be used for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This fulfils the requirements for the purposes of complying with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This includes how to perform CPR, assist someone who is unconscious, choking, or in shock, and how to manage wounds, bleeding, and seizures. You’ll also explore best practices for preventing cross-infection, using face shields, handling first aid kits, and properly recording incidents.
Plus, we’ll cover how to treat minor injuries such as burns, scalds, and cuts, essential knowledge for any professional working in massage therapy or holistic health.
Why Choose This Course:
Unlike generic first aid training, this course is designed by massage therapists, for massage therapists. That means everything you learn is directly relevant to your work – from what to do if a client faints on the table, to how to safely handle bleeding, seizures, or shock during a session. Taught by a fellow massage professional, the training blends expert medical guidance with real-world clinic experience, making it both practical and highly relatable. Plus, it’s hands-on, interactive, and surprisingly fun, far from your typical dry first aid course. You’ll walk away with a three-year certification, CPD credits, and the confidence to handle emergencies with skill and calm. It’s not just about ticking a box, it’s about protecting your clients, your practice, and yourself.
