Description:
This one-day course will give attendees the chance to understand and gain experience in performing urgent urological procedures. 

Using cadaveric material, the Emergency Urological Surgery Cadaver Course will enable attendees to gain confidence in performing a range of procedures. This course takes place in person at our Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre located at the University of Glasgow.

The course lead for this event is Mr Simon Morton, Consultant Urological Surgeon at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Learning outcomes:
When attending this course, topics will include: 

• Open cystostomy
• Reimplantation of ureter with psoas hitch
• Boari flap
• Transuretero-ureterostomy
• Emergency renal exploration.
