Proper compliance with hand hygiene in healthcare is one of the basic pillars that reduces the risk of spreading infections. At the same time, it is a legal obligation for all personnel working in healthcare facilities to observe hand hygiene and to be properly and regularly trained in it.
The course is suitable for all healthcare professions, auxiliary staff in hospitals and outpatient clinics, students of medical schools and medical faculties.

The e-learning course consists of video chapters that introduce participants to:

the importance of hand hygiene in healthcare,
history of hand hygiene,
correct procedures for hygienic hand washing and hygienic hand disinfection in healthcare,
the correct selection, rules and proper handling of gloves in healthcare.

After completing a short test, participants are issued a certificate of completion of the course.
The course content was created in cooperation with the National Working Group for Hand Hygiene.
