Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) University - Prismaflex/PrisMax is organized by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) and will be held from May 12 - 13, 2026 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America.

Description:
CRRT University™ is designed for health care providers caring for infants, children and / or adults receiving Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). This one and one-half day course combines interactive didactic small course instruction (five hours) with a full day simulation course. Medical professionals (RN and MD) are provided with an integrated platform to acquire new skills and abilities that will:

  • Improve aptitude in caring for CRRT patients
  • Increase working knowledge of the CRRT machine and ability to troubleshoot alarms
  • Enhance abilities to navigate and adapt to complex situations involving CRRT
  • Develop strategies for addressing challenging communication issues and program structure.

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

Nursing: This activity is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.
