Description:
The interventional approach to Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) has advanced the evolution of LV lead implantation by utilising a systematic approach with non-traditional tools and progressive techniques including: telescoping support catheters, vascular snares, venoplasty. 

During this 2-day course you will become acquainted with the tools, and approach needed for successful CRT implantation. There will be opportunity to experience within cath labs the set-up and execution of the procedure under the guidance of Jens Brock Johansen, MD, PhD, and Mindaugas Vieželis, MD, as set by Seth J. Worley, MD, FHRS, FACC. Dr. Worley is an internationally recognised expert in the advancement of cardiac resynchronization therapy. Registrations will be limited to a maximum of 6 attendees for each course to offer an optimal learning experience and opportunities for hands-on work. Experience an immersive educational program in Denmark’s largest CRT implanting centre (more than 250 cases yearly) under the guidance of Dr Jens Brock Johansen and Dr Mindaugas Vieželis. The program includes live cases, didactic presentations, hands-on training, clinical case review.

  • Advanced interventional techniques for LV lead implantation 
  • CS cannulation and lead delivery in challenging anatomies 
  • Snaring techniques
