This offering is intended to improve patient care by increasing proficiency for nurses who work in arrhythmia management and with cardiac medications.

Objectives:

  • Examine medications commonly prescribed and ordered to patients with cardiac or cardiovascular disease, with a focus on arrhythmia management.
  • Identify the mechanism of action of common cardiac medications.
  • Identify the effects of common cardiac medications on hemodynamics.
