OVERVIEW

Breast Ultrasound Course is organized by Advanced Health Education Center (AHEC) and will be held from Jul 24 - 25, 2026 at Advanced Health Education Center, Houston, Texas, United States of America.

Description:
As breast ultrasound continues to expand in clinical importance, this comprehensive training bridges the gap between mammography and sonography for today’s imaging professionals. Designed for mammographers seeking to elevate their skill set, this course provides the foundation to confidently perform and interpret breast ultrasound examinations in both screening and diagnostic settings.

Participants will explore normal anatomy, physiology, and a range of pathologic conditions encountered in breast imaging. The course blends classroom learning with hands-on scanning sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to refine their technical technique and interpretive accuracy.

Interactive case studies bring real-world application to life, emphasizing correlation between mammographic and ultrasound findings, identification of ultrasound artifacts, and the performance of ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.

By the end of this course, attendees will have the knowledge and confidence to integrate breast ultrasound into their daily workflow—enhancing diagnostic accuracy, patient care, and professional value.

Objectives
At the completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
