Basic Neck & Face (2 day) Course is organized by Vodder Schools International Ltd and will be held from May 29 - 30, 2026 at Swansea Town Hall, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Description:
 The 2-day Basic Neck and Face is taught in 20 hours. (16 in person and 4 hours of online theory) An intensive course involving extensive hands-on work. The basic strokes and their application to the neck and face are taught. The theory covers anatomy and physiology of the lymph vessel system, connective tissue, effects of MLD and contraindications. Applications to healthy clients are discussed as well as the role of MLD in the normal practice of an esthetician. Taking the Level 1 Esthetician Theory course would decrease the in-person class from 20 hours to these 16 hours, so please get the Online Theory Course as well. 

The 2 1/2-day Advanced Neck and Face is taught in 20 hours and involves extensive hands-on work. Students are expected to know their Basic course material before attending this course. The basic strokes and their application to the neck and face are revicwed. Advanced techniques for the face are taught. A rief review of Basic theory will be given. Applications to clients with problem skins are discussed as well as the role of MLD in cosmetic surgery Successful completion of a practical exam enables certification from the Dr. Vodder Academy/School - International. 

The Basic N&F course teaches the original Dr. Vodder method and covers: 

• Stationary circles and Neck treatment 
• Face treatment.
• Understand the context of MLD in the esthetician's setting
• Gain a thorough understanding of the lymphatic system and its importance in maintaining health. 
• Comprehend the effect of MLD on various systems in the body in relation to healthy skin. 
• Understand normal fluid exchange at the blood capillary and how MLD might affect it. 
• Learn how to apply MLD and when not to apply it.
