Basic course RFA 4th block (Fulda) is organized by Rheumatological Advanced Training Academy GmbH / Rheumatologische Fortbildungsakademie GmbH and will be held from Dec 05 - 06, 2026 in Fulda, Hessen, Germany.

Description:
The basic course imparts its knowledge over four weekends. This qualification, which includes both theoretical and practical content, can already improve rheumatological care. With the revision and redesign of the practical components since 2018, the continuing education program and its content have gained even greater relevance to everyday practice. The eighth edition of the curriculum "Rheumatological Specialist Assistant DGRh - BDRh" further developed the rheumatological additional qualification in 2022.

Knowledge gain:

Rheumatological and medical knowledge, with special consideration of the immune system
Knowledge of the structure, functions and disorders of the musculoskeletal system
Knowledge about the clinical pictures of rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
Knowledge of arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, psoriatic arthritis, Lyme disease
Knowledge of collagenoses such as systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis and other inflammatory rheumatic systemic diseases
Knowledge of osteoarthritis and degenerative diseases
osteoporosis
Knowledge of the pathophysiology of chronic pain and diseases, e.g., fibromyalgia
Knowledge of diagnostic procedures in laboratory medicine, general principles, quality assurance and immunological laboratory
Knowledge of imaging techniques, e.g. ultrasound, X-ray, MRI
Knowledge of immunomodulatory systemic therapy with basic therapeutics, DMARDs, tsDMARDs and biologics
Knowledge of accompanying care measures (physical and occupational therapy, lifestyle changes, rehabilitation, patient education)
