The overall objectives of GTI's Armed Forces Advanced Trauma Training (AFATT®) course is to provide medical response members from civilian sectors and military alike, with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to provide advanced acute management for trauma patients in a combat environment and in the event of a domestic incident.
Designed for currently serving military members, GTI's AFATT® is presented by some of the nation's leading authorities in emergency medicine and other disciplines such as behavioral health, and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive, or CBRNE, incident management.
AFATT® features interactive didactic lectures and dynamic exercises designed to train health care providers with varied backgrounds, levels of training, and skill sets to mitigate the existing gaps between individual medical providers' capacities to provide the correct pre-hospital trauma life support interventions.
Course Objectives:
Designed for currently serving military members, GTI's AFATT® is presented by some of the nation's leading authorities in emergency medicine and other disciplines such as behavioral health, and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) incident management. AFATT® features training designed to mitigate existing gaps between individual medical providers' capacities to provide the correct pre-hospital trauma life support interventions at the correct time in the continuum of combat trauma care and/or catastrophic critical event care.

CME Accreditation
Upon completion of AFATT®, students receive a certificate awarding 120 hours of AMA Category 1 credits accredited through Touro University Nevada. This ensures your training meets the highest educational standards.
Continuing Education Units
CE's will be awarded for completion of the course for all applicable sections. These continuing education units will be distributed to attendees via email within 30 days after course completion.
