AO Spine Advanced Level Anatomical Specimen Course - Basic Endoscopic Spine Surgery on Uniportal & Biportal is organized by AO Foundation and will be held from Sep 04 - 05, 2026 at University of the Philippines College of Medicine, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Description
This 2-day course will feature morning lectures on spinal endoscopy principles, anatomy, case selection, and instrumentation. The afternoon sessions will include cadaveric dissections and endoscopic surgical technique practice under expert guidance. Optional recorded or live surgery demonstration will be included.

Goal
To equip spine surgeons with fundamental knowledge and hands-on skills in performing basic endoscopic spine procedures using cadaveric models.

Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to: 
– Explain the principles and indications of endoscopic spine surgery 
– Demonstrate portal placements and use of endoscopic equipment 
– Perform stepwise endoscopic discectomy via interlaminar and transforaminal approaches 
– Identify and avoid common intraoperative pitfalls
