AO CMF Masters Course - Facial Gender Affirmation Surgery is organized by AO Foundation and will be held from Nov 29 - Dec 02, 2026 in Davos, Graubunden, Switzerland.

Description:
This 2.5-day course is delivered through a combination of lectures, small group discussions, panel discussions and hands-on practical exercises with dry bone (including facial analysis and planning).

Goal:
To equip participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills in Facial Gender Affirmation Surgery to improve patient outcomes and integrate these techniques into their practice.

Objectives:
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Conduct a comprehensive patient assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered care planning.
Describe proficiency in the use of state-of-the-art surgical tools, risk assessment, and precision surgical execution.
Describe criteria for surgical precision, manual dexterity, and expertise in complex anatomical reconstructions.
Conduct an outcome assessment, evidence-based follow-up care, and continuous quality improvement in affirmation surgery.
