Participants will be engaged in an intensive learning activity on the most up-to-date treatment concepts and technological advances in the management of facial deformities. The course comprises modular sessions, case discussions, and panel debates on various topics related to orthognathic surgery at an expert level. The high faculty-to-participant ratio facilitates in-depth discussions and interactions with renowned faculty members.
Goal:
This 2.5-day master's level course provides a comprehensive overview of concepts in orthognathic surgery for dental and skeletal deformity that can be applied in the local healthcare system based on patient needs and expectations and on a multidisciplinary approach. A particular focus is placed on the challenge of treating obstructive sleep apnea and on the surgery-first approach. The course covers the use of the emerging technology for planning and treatment processes as well as complication avoidance.
