As Advanced Practice Providers, you play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. With rapid advancements in diagnostics, therapeutics, and endoscopic techniques, staying current is essential, yet often challenging within the pace of daily practice.

This one-day, in-person symposium is designed specifically with APPs in mind, offering concise, high-yield updates on the latest in gastroenterology and hepatology. Through practical, evidence-based education, you’ll gain strategies to enhance the care you provide across a wide range of digestive health conditions, from esophageal and motility disorders to inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease.

Our dynamic program features lectures, expert panels, interactive Q&A sessions and breakout sessions focused on real-world application of the latest advancements and evolving guidelines. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with faculty, engage with leading experts, and build valuable professional relationships throughout the day.

Key Features:

Apply current, evidence-based guidelines within the scope of APP practice to support the diagnosis and management of common gastrointestinal and hepatologic conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO),inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease.
Recognize diagnostic frameworks for evaluating chronic abdominal pain, including red flags, differential diagnoses, and management strategies when IBS is not the explanation.
Implement guideline-based care for IBD, with emphasis on differentiating ulcerative colitis (UC) from Crohn's disease (CD), optimizing treatments, and addressing health maintenance needs.
Apply practical approaches to liver disease evaluation and management, including abnormal liver function tests, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASH), and autoimmune/cholestatic conditions.
Integrate key concepts in gastrointestinal motility disorders, such as anorectal manometry, pelvic floor dysfunction, and achalasia, into APP clinical practice.
