Description:
Corewell Health William Beaumont University's Microvascular Surgery Skills Training Course is a five-day program focused on advanced skill development in the use of microvascular surgical techniques. The training is limited to TWO attendees per session, allowing each attendee to receive extensive, individualized training. The instruction incorporates demonstrations, microvascular skills practice and detailed handouts.
The "Advanced" workshop builds on the skills learned in the basic workshop and incorporates more difficult scenarios in the day-to-day training, including end-to-side anastomosis, carotid artery bypass, sciatic nerve repair, free-flap-in-situ, and more! Completion of the "Basic" workshop is required in order to register for the "Advanced" workshop.
