Under the motto “Breathing the Future – Innovation and Humanity”

The development of pulmonology offers a wide range of opportunities: Innovative therapies, digital transformation, the growing importance of personalized medicine, and, last but not least, social change challenge us as pulmonologists and healthcare professionals alike – both in clinical practice and in practice. The balance between technology and compassion is the key to future-proof medicine and is the focus of this conference.

"Breathing the future" also means actively shaping the further development of our field. The DGP Congress provides the ideal platform for this – for exchange, inspiration, encounters, and discussions. Whether it's proven care pathways or new approaches, clinical trials or care-related innovations: Together we aim to strengthen the dialogue between practice and hospitals – a dialogue that we, as congress presidents, also embrace. Rainald Fischer represents the perspective of our colleagues in private practice, while Robert Bals brings the viewpoint of hospitals and university hospitals. Two perspectives – one common goal.
