48th Annual Carrell Krusen Neuromuscular Symposium is organized by University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center and will be held from Feb 19 - 20, 2026 at The Beeman Hotel, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.
Description:
This symposium is a clinical education experience for members of multidisciplinary teams who care for patients with rare, complex neuromuscular diseases including hereditary muscular dystrophies, motor neuron diseases, neuroimmunologic neuropathies and rare genetic disorders of muscle and nerve. Case presentations will include physical diagnosis and discussion of management and new therapies by participating experts. All discussions involve active participation by attendees. The educational format for this activity includes didactic lectures with in depth Q&A, panel discussions, and PowerPoint Presentations. The content of the program is identified and developed through a Call for Abstracts process. The 2026 keynote speaker will present a formal lecture on the emerging landscape for metabolic myopathies.
