2nd Annual Practical Symposium| Winter is organized by Cockerell Dermatopathology (CDP) and will be held from Jan 29 - Feb 01, 2026 at The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail, Vail, Colorado, United States of America.

Description:
The symposium will emphasize essential dermatologic topics and how dermatologists the Practical Symposium | Summer meeting, we are expanding our educational offering to incorporate winter activities. Also, the symposium's agenda allows for numerous networking opportunities between attendees, faculty, and industry executives.

The symposium is a great fit for dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, dermatopathologists, pathologists, and other clinicians seeking to deepen their dermatologic knowledge base. Industry research doctors who attend will better understand the important roles their companies play within the dermatology specialty. Our self-paced e-slide library assists residents, fellows, and physicians in preparing for the certification or re-certification exam. 

Educational Objectives:
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to: 

  • Discuss & translate the current trends and future innovations associated with clinical dermatology and dermatopathology
  • Demonstrate an improved knowledge base of the various treatment options and the use of multiple modalities in treating specific dermatologic disorders.
  • Recall the basic principles for treating dermatologic disorders, including biologics, combination therapy, and future treatments.
  • Discuss & implement learned skills about the clinical and histopathologic features, management, and treatment of common skin cancers and non-cancerous skin disorders.
  • Appraise & evaluate new diagnostic and treatment algorithms for pigmented neoplasms (including melanoma), carcinomas, and inflammatory conditions.
  • Assess the use of physical therapies, including cryotherapy, radiation therapy, photodynamic therapy, and light therapy, in treating skin lesions.
