29th Anniversary of the Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Update is organized by Albany Medical College (AMC) and will be held on Jul 09, 2026 at The Gideon Putnam, Saratoga Springs, New York, United States of America.
Description:
This year conference will focus on controversial diagnosis, testing and treatment in allergy and immunology. Conditions encompassing the specialty of allergy and immunology shrouded in controversies include, but not limited to: PANDAS, MCAS, Black Mold Allergy, Sick Building Syndrome, Iodine-Shellfish-Contrast allergy, Drug and Food Allergy Mimics. Controversial testing include but not limited to: serum IgG/IgG4 testing, applied kinesiology, provocation-neutralization, and electrodermal (Vega) testing. Controversial treatment modalities include, but not limited to: autogenous-urine immunization, Rinkel or skin titration method, acupuncture, homeopathy, and halotherapy. Those controversial conditions, testing and treatment methods have created misery and confusion in the minds of patients, even the most intellectually sophisticated ones. On the other hand, providers are also confused and embrace erroneous information readily available on the internet. The goal of this year’s conference is an attempt to fill the knowledge gap as truth and error seem almost undistinguishable on the internet and in doctors’ offices vis-à-vis those conditions and others. by the faculty, please bring them with you on a separate piece of paper and drop them on the registration table. The faculty will do their best to respond to your questions either in their talks or in the special segment…. “Ask the Professors.”
