The 25th AIPS National Congress 2026 proposes a shift in perspective: from focusing on the individual practicing sports or physical activity to focusing on the contexts surrounding them: from the coaching staff to the family, from the school to the team, from the sports association to the broader social environment, including the impact of social media.

Today, those working in sports and exercise psychology are called upon to operate within complex systems, in which every relationship can become a resource or an obstacle to the development of people who practice sports and physical activity.

From mental training to group interventions, it is increasingly essential to consider the environment in which programs are designed, delivered, and received.

The conference will be an opportunity to reflect on the role of sport and exercise psychology as a facilitator of processes, the challenges of multiple personal identities (student, child, athlete, individual), managing dual careers, sports participation, ethical and relational dynamics within staff, and strategies for building motivating, safe, inclusive, and mindful environments for all ages and levels of experience.
