With the rapid changes in practice patterns and new evidence in the literature, it is imperative that the OB-GYN generalist and family medicine physician stay up to date on several key topics in general obstetrics, obstetrical emergencies, medical complications of pregnancy, gynecology and gynecologic oncology. This activity is intended for practitioners in obstetrics and gynecology as well as internal and family medicine including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses and other health care professionals who have direct responsibility for, or interest in, obstetrics and gynecology.
Learning Objectives:
This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to apply current evidence-based guidelines in diagnosing and managing common OB/GYN conditions, evaluate new technologies and therapies, integrate strategies for improved patient safety and quality of care, identify and address healthcare disparities, enhance communication and collaboration within healthcare teams, summarize updates and advancements in the field, and implement best clinical practices.
