The Society for Technology in Anesthesia (STA) 2026 Annual Meeting will provide a platform for anesthesia researchers to present their findings and developments in an effort to improve practices in anesthesia. Specific topics will include artificial intelligence in clinical integration, spinal anesthesia in zero-gravity, and workshops in Python, biodesign, and the FDA.

Educational Objectives
As a result of participation in this CME activity, learners should be able to:

• Identify key barriers and facilitators influencing the translation of technological innovations in anesthesia, with a focus on human factors engineering and implementation science.
• Describe foundational processes for initiating technology innovations from both academic and industry perspectives.
• Summarize the regulatory landscape—including legal, economic, and US Food and Drug Administration considerations—and its impact on advancing technological innovations.
