The Renal Physicians Association's (RPA) 2026 Annual Meeting is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange for nephrology practitioners nationwide. Packed with expert-led sessions, the meeting agenda will tackle the most pressing regulatory, legislative, and clinical practice challenges facing nephrologists, advanced practice providers, practice administrators, and other professionals that support the nephrology profession. Thought leaders will delve into emerging trends, best practices, and evidence-based strategies to ensure the sustainability of nephrology practices and, most importantly, deliver optimal care for patients with kidney disease.
Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this educational activity participants should be able to:
- Apply strategies to successfully provide quality patient care.
- Identify new innovations in kidney disease and how to apply them to patient care.
- Identify, demonstrate, and employ new legislative and regulatory issues affecting nephrology practice.
- Effectively manage the non-clinical aspects of nephrology practice.

Continuing Education
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Renal Physicians Association and the University of Virginia School of Medicine and School of Nursing and is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

UVA Health Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for the annual meeting and 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for the coding and billing pre-conference workshop. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Hours of Participation
UVA Health Continuing Education awards 14.5 hours of participation (consistent with the designated number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM or ANCC contact hours) to a participant who successfully completes this educational activity. UVA Health Continuing Education maintains a record of participation for six (6) years.

UVA Health Continuing Education has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 14.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits for the annual meeting and 5.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits for the coding and billing pre-conference workshop. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
