OVERVIEW

2026 Mid-Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology Society (MAGOS) Annual Conference is organized by UVA Health Continuing Education and will be held from Nov 05 - 07, 2026 at Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Description:
The 2026 MAGOS Annual Meeting provides a multidisciplinary forum for clinicians and trainees to master evolving paradigms in gynecologic oncology. This year’s program specifically targets high-impact shifts in molecular subtyping for endometrial cancer, the ethical integration of AI decision-support tools, and data-driven strategies to close the 'screening-to-treatment' gap in cervical cancer care.

Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Integrate Molecular Subtyping into Endometrial Cancer Care: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to classify endometrial cancer into the four molecular subtypes (POLEmut, MMRd, NSMP, and p53abn) as defined by SGO and PORTEC-4a data, and apply these findings to develop standardized, evidence-based adjuvant treatment plans that replace traditional clinicopathologic staging alone.
  • Appraise and Implement AI Decision-Support Tools: Participants will be able to critically evaluate the clinical utility and limitations of AI models in gynecologic oncology—specifically regarding adnexal mass triage and clinical trial matching—while demonstrating the ability to integrate AI-generated prognostic outputs into shared decision-making within ethical and regulatory governance frameworks.
  • Mitigate Disparities in the Cervical Cancer Screening-to-Treatment Cascade: Participants will be able to identify and address systemic barriers (SDOH) that cause follow-up failures in at-risk populations by implementing the 2025 multi-society consensus recommendations, including the utilization of patient navigators, rural-to-hub care networks, and the optimization of existing free screening programs to ensure equitable treatment completion.
