2026 Annual Meeting of the Florida Radiological Society (FRS) & Florida Radiology Business Management Association (FRBMA) is organized by Florida Radiological Society (FRS) and Florida Radiology Business Management Association (FRBMA) and will be held from Jul 17 - 19, 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida, United States of America.

Description:
The Radiation Oncology session will include presentations from both attending faculty and residents. Presentations will review important issues including the role of radiosurgery in brain metastases, opportunities for AI-guided imaging biomarkers, strategies to improve patient access to necessary care, updates in radiotherapy for spine/sacral chordomas and the use of immunotherapy with SBRT for Stage I NSCLC.

Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

  • Evaluate the current state of radiology, including key socioeconomic drivers influencing the specialty.
  • Assess the evolving impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on radiology practice and workflow.
  • Identify current and future demands on radiologists within a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
  • Discuss how these shifting demands affect collaboration, communication, and expectations among clinicians.
  • Understand the evolving role of radiosurgery in the management of brain metastases.
  • Appreciate new opportunities for AI-guided imaging biomarkers.
  • Examine strategies to improve patient access to necessary care.
  • Discuss radiotherapy for spine and sacral chordomas.
  • Explore the use of immunotherapy with SBRT for Stage I NSCLC.
