Overview:
Transition to ST3 is a key career stage. This course is designed to help you progress into higher surgical training by combining practical skills in trauma and fracture management, with application and interview for ST3.

This course will cover:

• Fractured neck of femur treatment by DHS and hemiarthroplasty
• Application of external fixators in trauma, in addition to small fragment plating and intramedullary nailing in dry bone skill lab simulations
• Basic and advanced techniques

This course aims to develop the fundamental skills essential for success at ST3 level and beyond.
