Therapeutic Exercise Study on Cadaver Lab – 2nd Edition is organized by ICLO Verona srl and will be held on Mar 22, 2025 at ICLO, Verona, Veneto, Italy.

Course Description:
The aim of the Course is to understand, through the field study of cadavers, what happens actually inside the shoulder joint when we move the arm and as during dedicated exercises, the glenohumeral joint, acromion-collarbone, sternum-collarbone and scapula thoracic, must necessarily be interpreted as a large orchestra that “plays” reading on the same sheet music to allow for arm movements in space.

Thanks to the experience and guidance of Prof. Ferdinand Our Father, students will be able to observe and touching the different anatomical structures by hand by perceiving thicknesses, widths, lengths and resistance.

Specifically, muscle, ligament, tendon and capsular structures will be analyzed, the nervous system and the vascular, arterial and venous system that mirrors the shoulder blade by putting a focus on the glenohumeral joint.

Thanks to the Shoulder Practice Course Team, it will be possible to analyze those anatomical structures responsible for the complex movement of the shoulder; specifically, we will pay attention to the
biomechanics of the scapula–thoracic joint and how it affects exercise performance specifically. We will study the causes of movement dysfunctions related to functional anatomy and biomechanics leading to different clinical pictures.

Another focus will be on the study of the CLB (long head of the biceps) and how by its nature anatomical both responsible for and often victim of various medical conditions; we will analyze the headset
of the rotators in relation to the glenohumeral joint and of how thanks to the close collaboration with the deltoid muscle and the thoracic scapula muscle it is possible to orient the arm in space.
