The National Conference on Wilderness Medicine is a CME-accredited gathering of Physicians, PAs, NPs, RNs, and medics from ALL medical specialties who are interested in outdoor adventure, travel, sports, disaster relief, rescue, and medical work in remote places. Over 25 presentations and hands-on workshops are taught by leading experts in the field of wilderness and travel medicine.

Accreditation:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) and Wilderness and Travel Medicine, LLC. The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation: The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) designates this live activity for a maximum of 37.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
This activity is approved for up to 37.5 hours of AOA Category 2-A CME credit.
AAFP: This live activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 37.5 hours of prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
ACEP: This program has been approved by the American College of Emergency Physicians for 37.5 hours of ACEP Category 1 credits.
Nurse Credit: Under the new BRN guidelines, this course is also accredited for up to 37.5 hours of nursing credit.
Physician Assistants: The American Association of Physician Assistants accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
All participants receive 22.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Main Course. Participants taking the optional AWEP™ workshop will receive an additional 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Participants taking the optional Wound Management workshop will receive an additional 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Participants taking the optional Learn How to Reduce & Split Dislocations workshop will receive an additional 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Participants taking the optional Learn Practical Splinting Skills workshop will receive an additional 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
You can earn a maximum of 37.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by taking the AWEP Workshop with the Main Course.
There are no prerequisites for attending this event
Cancellations received in writing at least four weeks prior to the conference start date will receive a refund less a $100.00 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after that time.

Advanced Wilderness Expedition Provider (AWEP Certification) Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 30 days prior to the course start date will incur a $50 fee. Within 30 days of the course, no refunds will be given.
Optional Workshop Cancellation Policy: Full payment is required at time of purchase. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the workshop date will incur a $25 fee. Within 30 days of the workshop, no refunds will be given. Thank you for your understanding.
