This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) and Wilderness and Travel Medicine, LLC. The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) designates this live activity for a maximum of 39.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity is anticipated to offer up to 39.00 hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credit, pending approval by the AOA.

Physician Assistants: The American Association of Physician Assistants accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Participants taking the optional Wound Management workshop will receive an additional 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Participants taking the optional Practical Splinting Skills workshop will receive 1.25 additional AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Participants taking the optional How to Assess and Reduce Fractures and Dislocations workshop will receive an additional 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Participants taking the optional Wilderness Wisdom for Women workshop will receive an additional 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Participants taking the optional Travel Intelligence & Improvised Care for Wilderness and International Travel workshop will receive an additional 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

You can earn a maximum of 39.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by taking the AWEP Workshop in addition to the Main Course.
