Our society is currently facing the significant challenge of navigating through "an era of transformation" and is actively preparing for various changes to meet these demands. In this context, the theme of this year’s congress, "Facing the Challenges," has been chosen to create a special platform for sharing the latest knowledge and research in the diverse and ever-evolving field of endocrinology. This congress will also serve as a valuable platform for the exchange of academic achievements and clinical experiences. It is with great joy and anticipation that I have the honor of introducing this meaningful occasion to you today.Over the past decade, the Korean Endocrine Society has played a leading role in advancing endocrinology not only in Korea but across Asia through SICEM. The dedicated research and practice of many participants, both domestic and international, have significantly contributed to academic progress and clinical applications, ultimately improving the quality of life for patients. However, we cannot rest on these accomplishments. We must proactively address the ever-changing medical landscape and academic challenges.
