Description:
Public Health 2025 is the national conference where public health professionals, researchers, policy makers, academics, students and trainees come together to strengthen efforts to improve health and well-being, share the latest research and evidence, promote best practices and promulgate the integration of research into public health issues and policies.

Objectives of the Conference:
Public Health 2025 will be:

• A dynamic place where researchers, policy makers and practitioners present action-oriented best practices, evidence-informed interventions, successful strategies and new studies from Canadian and global settings;
• A forum that promotes forward-looking thinking, reflection and critical dialogue to prepare public health to meet future challenges;
• An environment conducive to sharing innovative ideas and approaches in public health practice, policy and research to foster further inter- and intra-sectoral collaborations;
• A multi-sectoral forum for knowledge exchange and a networking opportunity to discuss current public health issues in Canada and around the world;
• A place where public health professionals at all stages of their education and careers can collaborate, innovate and help shape the health and well-being of Canadians.

Learning Objectives:
After attending Public Health 2025, participants will be better prepared to:

• To clearly articulate the current state of evidence, research, policies and practices in public health;
• To identify problems and their solutions, trends, new issues and gaps to be filled in public health;
• To use effective, evidence-based public health programs, practices, structures and systems; and
• To define strategies for the application and exchange of knowledge.
