Description:
This is a Dental Board of California approved course that meets the requirements for California Dental Assistants (DAs) for qualification for the RDA Ca Dental Board Exam.

Program:

• Theoretical classes, lab exercises, clinical exercises and written exam.
• Lab exercises on mounted typodont mannequins.
• Clinical application of pit and fissure sealants on 16 virgin (un-restored, decay-free) posterior teeth on four live patients no younger than 12 years old. 
• Each patient must have a minimum of one qualified posterior tooth per quadrant (Total of four patients needed, two for clinical homework experience and two for actual exam day patients). Both exam day patients will be graded for final exams.
• It is the candidates’ responsibility to find and bring their own patients.
