Pediatrics in the Islands … Clinical Pearls 2025 is organized by Children's Hospital Los Angeles Medical Group (CHLAMG) and will be held from Jul 19 - 25, 2025 at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort And Spa, Maui, Hawaii, United States of America.

Description:
The conference will provide a practical, clinically relevant review of selected topics for pediatricians, family physicians, and other health care professionals who provide general pediatric care for infants, children and adolescents. Our outstanding faculty — all nationally recognized in their respective specialty areas — will present current clinical challenges and recent advances in selected pediatric subspecialty areas: allergy/asthma/immunology, development-behavior, gastroenterology & nutrition, infectious diseases, neurology and urology.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the California District IX, Chapter 2 of the AAP. The American Academy of Pediatrics is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The AAP designates this live activity for a maximum of 22.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity is acceptable for a maximum of 22.50 AAP credits. These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 22.5 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

The AAFP has reviewed Pediatrics in the Islands … Clinical Pearls 2025 and deemed it acceptable for up to 22.50 In-Person, Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 07/19/2025 to 07/25/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive 22.50 Mainpro+ Certified, Certified Assessment, or Non-certified credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians. CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

PAs may claim a maximum of 22.5 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.

This program is accredited for 22.50 NAPNAP CE contact hours of which 0 contain pharmacology (Rx) content, (0 related to psychopharmacology) (0 related to controlled substances), per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines.

The Hawaii State Board of Nursing accepts credit from courses accredited by the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The California Board of Registered Nursing accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for meeting RN continuing education requirements. (Report “ACCME Category 1” as the provider number.) Other states: Credits generally available through AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ approval and/or reciprocal credit agreement.
