New challenges of precision medicine in oncology: from pharmacogenetics to therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is organized by Events S.r.l. Congress&Communication and will be held on Nov 28, 2025 at Research Tower “City of Hope”, Padova, Veneto, Italy.
Theme: Advances in the Management of Meningiomas and Gliomas.
Description:
In recent years, precision medicine has profoundly transformed the approach to cancer care, shifting the focus from the disease to the individual, with the goal of offering increasingly targeted, effective, and safe treatments. The conference "New Challenges of Precision Medicine in Oncology: From Pharmacogenetics to TDM" was created with the aim of creating an interdisciplinary discussion on three fundamental pillars of personalized therapy: new therapeutic approaches, germline pharmacogenetics, and therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).
Throughout the day, experts from various reference centers will take turns discussing the latest clinical evidence and future perspectives, with a focus on innovative tools such as molecular profiling of solid tumors, the use of biomarkers in liquid biopsy, and the integration of germline genetic data into care pathways. Special attention will also be paid to TDM, as a support for the management of oral anticancer drugs in complex clinical scenarios, such as polypharmacy.
The initiative aims not only to update participants on the most relevant developments but also to foster shared reflection on how to effectively implement these tools in daily clinical practice, fostering a virtuous network between research, healthcare, and innovation.
