OVERVIEW

Mobilization of the Cranial Nerves is organized by Back Works Spinal and Sports Rehabilitation and will be held from Nov 15 - 16, 2025 at Back Works Spinal & Sports Rehabilitation, Ltd., Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Description:
A dynamic hands-on manual course is for osteopaths and osteopathic manual practitioners with advanced cranial knowledge and skills, who want to learn mobilization of the cranial nerves. These techniques are useful for treating conditions such as concussion, Bell’s Palsy, visual dysfunction, loss of smell due to COVID, Burning Mouth Syndrome, Trigeminal Neuritis, Tinnitus, and ear, nose and throat pathologies. Injuries, surgeries, infections and dental work can affect the mobility of the cranial nerves resulting in neural pathology. Adhesions, foramen restrictions and cranial pathology must be addressed to stimulate and mobilize the cranial nerves.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the course the participants will be able to:

  • Learn manual techniques for the treatment of the pathology of the cranial nerves
  • Advance their knowledge of the anatomy of the cranial nerves and their pathways
  • Practice manual techniques to regain the mobility of the cranial nerves through manual stimulation, stretching, and mobilizing the nerves
