Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA) 2025 Annual Meeting is organized by Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA) and will be held from Apr 09 - 13, 2025 at La Cantera Resort & Spa, San Antonio, Texas, United States of America.
Objectives:
- To review principles in arthritis treatment for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.
- To review the range of surgical procedures available to treat rotator cuff tears To recognize preoperative factors that may affect total hip arthroplasty performance
- To review indications and performance of different hip joint preservation procedures
- To review factors impacting the outcome of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
- To review principles in treating intra-articular knee cartilage and meniscus injury
- To improve prevention, recognition and treatment of total knee arthroplasty complications
- To review the treatment strategies of both basic and complex adult orthopedic trauma
- To identify tibial plateau injury patterns and review reduction and fixation principles
- To review current concepts in the treatment of periprosthetic fractures
- To evaluate and treat patients with common pediatric orthopedic conditions or injury
- To evaluate and treat patients with common foot/ankle degenerative conditions or injury
- To evaluate new technologies that are available to support clinical orthopedic practice
