The theme for this year's meeting. "Precision Medicine Navigating Patient-Centered Outcomes", reflects the growing focus on personalized healthcare approaches. Gone are the days of "one size fits all treatment approaches. Our understanding of precision oncology demands a personalized approach to each patient, as our understanding of cancer genetics and response to different treatment modalities evolves. Additionally, with the multitude of treatment options now available for functional UGI disease and obesity, an understanding of which procedure suits which patient the best, is essential for optimal outcomes. The concept of "right drug, right dose, right patient has now evolved to "right treatment, right dose, right patient".
