Leeds Cadaver Workshop is organized by The Pain Relief Foundation and will be held from Aug 14 - 15, 2025 at Worsley Building, Leeds, England, United Kingdom.

Welcome to our annual cadaver workshop that has been running for the last 10 years. In response to feedback from previous courses we have now included neuromodulation.

The focus of our course will be:-

  • Day 1 - Basic Spine Interventions
  • Day 2 - Advanced Spine interventions

In response to popular demand and a desire to make anatomical education more accessible, we are pleased to announce a full day of online lectures complementing the hands-on experience.

This online lecture series is designed to provide a comprehensive theoretical foundation that will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the practical sessions during the workshop. Leading experts in their respective fields will deliver engaging and informative lectures covering key anatomical regions and concepts.

Learning Objectives:

Day One: Learning Objectives
Understand the fluoroscopic anatomy of the spine

Learn the technique of navigating the needle to the target point on the spine

Learn how to perform:

  • Lumbar Transforaminal Epidurals
  • Sacroiliac Joint Interventions
  • Hip and Knee interventions
  • Lumbar sympathetic Block
  • Lumbar Medial Branch Radiofrequency denervation

Free stations will be there to assist delegates consolidate the learning objectives

Day Two: Learning Objectives
Understand the fluoroscopic anatomy of the spine

Learn how to perform:

  • Cervical Medial Branch Block, Third Occipital Nerve Block, C7 Medial branch block
  • Cervical Medial Branch Radiofrequency Denervation
  • Disc Procedures
  • Vertebral Body Procedures
  • Spinal cord Stimulation
  • Trigeminal Interventions

Free stations will be there to assist delegates consolidate the learning objectives

Program

  • Intensive 2-day hands-on cadaver pain interventional-training course
  • All training focused on European clinical practice and well supported by a totally  UK faculty
  • Ideal for pain medicine consultants and doctors in training to develop and update their intervention skills
  • Educational resources will be provided prior to the course
  • Small group sizes will enable ample time to interact with the very experienced faculty

Spine Interventions

  • Radiological anatomy of skull and spine
  • Epidural (caudal, cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
  • Selective nerve root blocks
  • Facet joint interventions (medial branch, RF techniques)
  • Sacro-iliac joint interventions (including RF)
  • Sympathetic blocks (stellate, splanchnic, coeliac, lumbar and hypogastric)
  • Knee, Hip and Shoulder procedures
  • Disc procedures 
  • Vertebral body procedures
  • Spinal cord stimulation
  • Trigeminal ganglion interventions (balloon micro-compression)
