We’ll start each day together with ACCME President and CEO, Graham McMahon, MD, MMSc, as he engages thought leaders – from both inside and beyond the healthcare arena –
in pertinent discussions that will help shape the future of accredited continuing education.

Engage During Inspire & Teach! Sessions
Learn from your colleagues in our Inspire & Teach! sessions, exchange effective practices, and develop new approaches to enhance your CE program. During registration you’ll select three Inspire & Teach! sessions to attend – one on each day of the meeting!

Get Strategic in Mini-Plenaries
Our series of strategy-building sessions led by ACCME staff and subject matter experts are designed to help evolve your continuing education (CE) program for 2025 and beyond. Topics will include:

• Leveraging Generative AI technology to bring efficiency to your CE program 
• Getting back to basics with ACCME’s Core Criteria for new CE professionals 
• Leveling up the impact of your CE program by implementing key strategies from the Achieves Outcomes Commendation criteria

Discover New Tools and Share Insights at the Working Group Showcases and Feedback Sprints
Working Groups are optional, longitudinal learning opportunities that leverage the convening power of the Learn to Thrive meetings in order to facilitate the collaboration of CE professionals in the production of a resource for the accredited education community.

During the Working Group Showcase sessions on Wednesday, April 23, you’ll be among the first to learn about the wonderful tools developed by the Learn to Thrive 2024 Working Groups for the CE community. The 2024 Working Groups have been developing tools to foster greater research in CE, support the professional development and professional identity formation of CE educators, and build accredited CE activities that meet requirements to provide credit for both MDs and DOs.

Then, on Thursday, April 26, you can engage with the 2025 Working Group leaders during “Feedback Sprint” sessions. Hear about their planned projects and provide your feedback and insights on the trajectory of their work. If you find a project that resonates with you, you will have the opportunity to join that Working Group and contribute to the group through virtual meetings following the in-person Learn to Thrive meeting.

Network with Colleagues
You’ll be able to reconnect with colleagues and establish new connections throughout the meeting, and especially during mealtimes, Colleague Chat sessions, breaks, and our Learn to Thrive 2025 Welcome Reception on Wednesday, April 23.

Each day, take the opportunity to network and debrief with your colleagues in our Colleague Chat sessions. An evolution of past years' Homeroom Sessions – these new networking options will be based on topics suggested, organized, and facilitated by Learn to Thrive participants!

Navigating the Agenda with Learning Pathways
To best support your educational needs at the 2025 meeting, each educational session will be tagged to a Learning Pathway that represents key meeting themes. Craft a learning plan that meets your professional development needs by following the pathways that best support your goals:

• Strategic Planning – leadership strategies that you can use to create an educational plan for your organization to address strategic priorities. 
• Learning Science – insights to enhance the educational methods you use to facilitate change for your learners, including andragogy, educational technology (including AI), and innovative methods. 
• Assessment – develop skills and practical applications for measuring the impact of your educational activities on learners, systems, and communities. 
• Commendation – illuminate ACCME’s Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation as an opportunity to take your CME impact into high gear. 
• Interprofessional CE – accelerate your ability to create and sustain functional interprofessional teams that learn together and take care of each other. 
• Public Health – connect with opportunities to address public health imperatives and will often include faculty who are public health officials and/or representatives of federal/state/local health agencies.
• Learner Data – help your learners fulfill professional obligations such as licensure, specialty credentialling, and the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) using the ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS). 
• CE Research – develop the skills needed to study the effectiveness of CE approaches. 
• Getting Accredited – gain an understanding of the components of and pathway to becoming an accredited CE provider. 
• Health & Well-being – tools and strategies for using CME to foster engagement that nourishes and sustains health professionals. An important priority for these sessions is recognizing the importance of wellness for CE professionals and their educational teams. 
• Patient-Partners – led and taught by people with lived-experience, including patients, families, and community members. 

Each concurrent session will include a recommended “Experience Level” to help you connect with CE professionals at a similar stage in their careers and make the most of your time at the meeting.     

• New to CE – attendees just beginning their career in CE (e.g., one year or less) who have minimal expertise with accreditation requirements, processes, and educational design (e.g., andragogy).
• Intermediate – some experience in CE, including expertise applying ACCME accreditation requirements and educational design (e.g., andragogy) to CE planning and delivery.
• Advanced – significant experience and expertise in leading accredited CE programs, curriculum development, and educational design.
