This year’s Patient Safety Congress will be centered around the National Action Plan to Advance Safety, enabling a total systems approach to safety. Re-set and re-energize your focus on safety with workshops, CPPS review courses, impactful keynotes, and rigorous, relevant sessions.

• Co-designing for Patient and Family Caregiver Engagement in Safety and Equity: Advancing authentic patient and family engagement through co-design with patients, families, and care partners to create equitable, patient-centered systems that prioritize safety and address disparities in every aspect of care design, delivery, and operations.
• Elevating Workforce Safety and Wellbeing: Ensuring the safety and resiliency of the organization and the workforce is a necessary precondition to advancing patient safety, requiring a unified, systems-based approach to eliminate harm to both patients and staff.
• Building Resilient Safety Learning Systems: Prioritizing evidence-based practices, learning systems, and continuous improvement to minimize risks and prevent harm to patients.
