Gulf Atlantic Anesthesia Residents' Research Conference (GAARRC) 2025 is organized by University of Florida (UF) Continuing Medical Education (CME) and will be held from May 02 - 04, 2025 at ,Saint Pete Beach, Florida, United States of America.
Description:
GAARRC is an annual, professional meeting devoted to presentations by resident physicians from anesthesiology programs based in the southeastern region of the United States. This meeting provides a necessary and unique venue for anesthesiology resident physicians to share their work in a low-stress setting, hone their presentation skills, learn the latest techniques and trends in the field and network with other residents and faculty members. It also provides an opportunity for faculty to gain experiences as mentors and judges. This learning experience for faculty members translates into more comprehensive education for our residents, who, as future consultant anesthesiologists, will be expected to contribute to scientific and educational advancements in the field. GAARRC provides an ideal growth environment for faculty members as they guide these resident physicians toward improved ability to present scientific information in an accurate, clear, concise and relevant manner, provide constructive feedback and reward excellence with prizes for top presentations. Our faculty and residents who have attended GAARRC in the past continually attest to the value of this conference toward the professional development of residents and faculty alike. For residents, presenting at this conference meets ACGME guidelines for resident scholarly activity (Section IV.B Residents' Scholarly Activities)
