Lecture

• Implant records, radiology (2D vs 3D) , CBCT
• Tx planning, implant biomechanics, implant prosthetics
• Bone grafting techniques and materials
• Pharmacology - pre and post-op medications.
   

Hands - On Training
( Day 1: Models, Day 2 : Pig Jaws )

• Drilling bone density blocks D1-4
• Place a dental implant -  free hand
• Extraction and socket grafting
• Suturing

Session 2: May 23 - 25
Lecture

• Guided implant placement
• Step-by-step implant surgery
• Implant hygiene and maintenance
• Pharmacology - pre and post-op medications.
   

Hands - On Training
( Day 1: Models, Day 2 : Pig Jaws )

• Place an implant - guided technique
• Take an implant impression - traditional PVS and digital impressions
• Aseptic technique
• Suturing techniques
