Why this course?  
Almost all (sports) physicians are confronted from time to time with questions about doping and the anti-doping policy . Often this concerns fitness athletes who want to use doping-related substances to become 'bigger and stronger' or who want to 'lose weight' and do this as 'healthily' as possible . However, it also happens that the  question comes from a competitive athlete who falls under the doping regulations of the relevant sports association.

Objectives:

The objectives of this course are:

• to inform physicians about the state of affairs regarding the use of doping substances;
• the (side) effects of doping substances;
• developments in anti-doping policy (national/international).
