Critical Care Imaging Interpretation Essentials is organized by Lightbox Radiology Education and will be held from Jul 21 - 24, 2025 at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa, Denarau Island, Ba, Fiji.

Description:
Diagnostic imaging and interpretation have become essential to guide intensive care practice and patient management. The ability to interpret critical care images is becoming even more essential in handling emergency situations and making confident decisions.

Our Critical Care Imaging Interpretation Course equips healthcare professionals with vital skills for interpretating imaging in high stakes environments. This comprehensive course covers X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MR imaging of critical brain, skull, chest, abdomen, and pelvis pathology commonly encountered in intensive care and emergency settings. Through engaging lectures, quizzes and interactive case reviews, participants will strengthen their diagnostic confidence and depend their understanding of key imaging principles for critical care.

Course:

  • Module 1: Imaging of the Brain & Skull – CT & MRI: Haemorrhage, Herniation, DAI, Infarction & Infection: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.
  • Module 2: Imaging of the Chest – X-Ray, Ultrasound, & CT: Cardiomediastinum, Airways, Lungs & Pleura: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.
  • Module 3: Imaging of the Abdomen/Pelvis – X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT & MRI (Part 1): Solid Viscera: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.
  • Module 4: Imaging of the Abdomen/Pelvis – X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT & MRI (Part 2): Hollow Viscera, Vessels, Retroperitoneum and Nodes: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.
