21st Annual Challenges in Laparoscopy & Robotics (CILR) is organized by Fedra Congressi, Vincenzo Pansadoro Foundation / Fondazione Vincenzo Pansadoro and will be held from Jun 04 - 06, 2025 at Carrara Paper Mill Theater, Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
Description:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the medical world, and we are excited to introduce Challenges in Laparoscopy & Robotics-AI (CILR-AI) for this year’s event. We have prepared a rich, comprehensive scientific program for you. As always, the highlight will be our signature live robotic and laparoscopic surgeries with the world’s top urologic surgeons, displayed concurrently on three large screens. These will be complemented by 25 “semi-live” complex and uncommon surgeries, recorded over the past year and presented by the surgeons themselves. You’ll be equipped with headphones to tune into the screen and discussion that interests you most, with live moderation to guide the experience.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to introduce cutting-edge AI applications with immediate relevance to your daily practice, no matter where in the world you work. This year’s live surgeries will push the boundaries of modern urology, featuring advanced procedures such as robotic kidney transplantation and auto-transplantation, bladder transplantation, complex partial nephrectomies, inferior vena-cavectomy with prosthetic grafting, radical nephrectomy with en bloc distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy, radical and salvage prostatectomies for locally advanced cancers, gender reassignment surgery, and much more. These procedures will not only enhance your skills but also expand the horizons of robotic and laparoscopic urologic surgery.
