Venous access is one of the most basic yet critical components of patient care both in hospital and ambulatory patient settings. Central venous access (i.e. where a long term venous line is inserted and the tip terminates in a large vein of the neck, chest, or abdomen) is a key component of this practice.
Mater Education’s Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD) workshop provides healthcare professionals with contemporary, evidence-based skills and knowledge in the discipline.
