OVERVIEW

Cellular Biology and Function of the Heart meeting (CBFH) Biennial meeting 2025 is organized by European Society of Cardiology (ESC), ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function and will be held from Nov 26 - 28, 2025 at University of Naples Federico II, Napoli, Naples, Italy.

Description:
This biennial meeting, showcasing state-of-the-art scientific advancements in cardiovascular basic and translational science, has become a tradition, attracting the most talented and promising early-career researchers.

During an intense three-day scientific program, participants will be updated on a range of exciting topics, from basic science to translational medicine, with a focus on cardiac cellular biology and heart failure. The meeting will delve deeply into the mechanisms and fundamental principles of heart failure and cardiovascular disease, driving research and innovation, particularly in emerging areas where much remains to be discovered. These areas include regenerative medicine, cardiac aging, and alterations in metabolic pathways in heart failure, among others. Additional topics will cover advanced therapies for heart disease, the basic mechanisms of cardiac rhythm disorders, the role of inflammation, microbiome, and pollution in cardiac diseases, and mechanical communication within the heart.
